1 pkg active dry yeast
1 cup warm water (about 105 degrees)
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
3 cups flour (all purpose or bread flour)
In a small bowl, combine yeast, warm water and sugar. Stir well, and lest rest, until mixture begins to bubble. (If mixture does not bubble, do not use)
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add yeast mixture and olive oil; mix.
Turn dough out onto a floured board and knead several times. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel and let rest in a warm place until double in size (about 30-40 minutes)
Punch down dough, knead and stretch to shape for pizza. (For a fluffier crust, let rest 10-15 minutes before topping and baking.)
Bake at 400 degress for regular crust thickness.
Bake 325 degrees if making a thicker crust.
