On Sunday, the Holm-Hansens headed off to the Minnesota Zoo. Devon was very interested in seeing all of the animals - highlights included prairie dogs, grizzly bears, and a tiger. We also checked out the new Africa exhibit. Devon thought the ostriches were funny...and he was interested in the zebras. The highlight of his day was getting to feed a giraffe. The giraffe was very excited about his biscuits...and gave Devon lots of licks in the process. Devon thought it was absolutely hysterical...lots of giggles and wiggles. Trivia of the day: a giraffe tongue can be up to 18 inches long.

Trip to the zoo
