A visitwith Grandma and Grandpa

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend visiting Chris and Jerry in Iowa over the Fourth of July. The kids had a great time during the visit. Devon "helped" haul tree limbs out of the yard with Grandpa's tractor, relaxed in the wading pool, played a lot with Grandma, watched wildlife in the back yard, and caught lightning bugs. Rylee especially enjoyed crawling around in the grass and falling into the wading pool. Unfortunately, it was pretty cool and rainy on the Fourth. We had planned on taking Devon to his first fireworks, but settled instead on watching some on television. All in all, it was a lovely visit!
