First art!

Devon has shown little interest in art - prefering to pursue other endeavors, such as tractor riding and climbing tall objects. When asked to draw a picture, Devon usually declines. He has, however, been very interested in drawing letters and spelling words. Last week, he wanted to write "mommy." I helped him do that, then was surprised when he said he wanted to draw a picture of me. This is his creation - his very first picture that doesn't just look like scribbles. It's me! This is how Devon explains the picture: "Mommy is feeling sad because she is walking to the doctors to have her broken finger fixed." The big finger on the right is apparently broken. I don't know why.
