Calvin wrapped up school with a graduation ceremony yesterday, a show for the parents, and a gift from his teacher. Today featured gifts to his teacher, a kindergarten bash at a water park, lunch and a playdate with dear friends, dinner at the Happy Meal place, and -- for our bedtime book -- a selection of his collected stories over the course of the year.
To be honest, it's a bittersweet occasion, and our young boy is a little emotional about ending such a fun year.
And there are, of course, more photos and stories to be shared.
But we have big plans. A surprise trip to Tahoe this weekend, to celebrate the start of summer vacation and Father's Day.
