More Advent fun

I thought I'd upload a snapshot of our daily Advent events, but stalled on Day 3. That day's activity — to go to San Francisco to enjoy the holiday lights and shop windows — was greeted with, "That's stupid."

And the outing went about as well as you might expect, salvaged only when we scrapped any holiday pretense and joined friends at a funky little park as night fell.

Oh well.

We've done a bit of craftiness, but we've been so busy — and the boys are so obsessed with Legos — that we haven't spent much time making stuff. But we have been doing stuff, like hanging candy canes on one our sidewalk trees with a help-yourself sign:

And making gingerbread cutouts:

And decorating our tree:

And attending school performances and celebrations:

We've donated food, played with stickers, made gifts for teachers, gone for walks to enjoy the neighborhood lights, and even joined friends for a carriage ride, singing carols as we rode merrily through suburbia.

The biggest hit, however... well, we'll share that tomorrow.
