In late September, Rylee went to "Plymouth on Parade," our annual town parade and festival. While originally, she was looking forward to watching the parade, she made a last minute (though very enthusiastic) decision to ride in the parade on her preschool's float. The parade was late getting started, but she was very patient waiting an hour and a half for the float to get moving (more patient than I was, as the parents were required to walk in the parade with the float). She had a great time, singing songs with her friends and waving to her adoring fans.
After the parade, she went on a pony ride, insisting that none of her adults walk with her because "I'm a big girl and I can do it myself." She also loved the petting zoo, getting to touch all kinds of fun animals (llamas, donkeys, rabbits, ducks, goats, etc.)!
