Our gym hosted a "Daddy-daughter dance" last week, and Rylee was thrilled to go with Daddy. She was very excited for the week leading up to the dance. She put lots of thought into her outfit, including accessories. You'll notice that she selected a beautiful tiara and her beat up sneakers (though she did also bring along her tap shoes, just in case). She put an equal amount of thought into Daddy's attire, selecting his outfit for him (she asked him to wear what he wore to our wedding) and insisting that we shave his head the day of the dance so that he would be as handsome as possible.
She had a lovely time. In addition to the dancing, they had activities such as nail painting and cookie decorating. She came up with a snow globe with a picture of her and Daddy, a pink balloon, and glittery nails. She felt like a real princess...and many kudos to her prince for taking her out for a night on the town.
