Calvin is participating in his school's annual Walkathon fundraiser again this year. Last year, he aimed to do at least 6 laps (a mile and a half), but ended up walking 17. This year, he hopes to complete at least 20 laps. He's already raised $15 through lemonade stand sales.
This the only fundraiser for his school's PTA, and the money supports a host of programs that he really enjoys. (It also supports the science fair, which I'm helping to run this year!)
