We've also had some good outings. Sunday's excursion to the Laurie Berkner concert was a bust...it was hot, and we were too far back to see much. After fielding complaints from everyone, we bailed. Monday's big event was a trip to the MN Zoo to see the dinosaur exhibit. The kids really seemed to enjoy that, and actually spent a lot of time looking at other animals as well. Another highlight for them was the Komodo Dragon, and Devon regaled them all with his tales of having fed them during a zoo class this spring. Tuesday was haircut day - and yes, we let the boys all come home with green mohawks. Wednesday, Grandma and Bob took the boys to the Science Museum, where they enjoyed a number of exhibits, including one about pirates. Calvin also seemed to enjoy the dinosaur fossils quite a bit. Wednesday night, we went to see a free showing of "Puss in Boots" at the park. Thursday was mostly spent playing at home, though we did go out to the Space Aliens Grill for lunch. The kids seemed to think that was kind of neat, and they enjoyed playing in the game room after lunch. Today, we took all of the kids to Edinborough Park, a cool inside play area. We were going to sleep out in the tent tonight, but there is rain in the forecast for overnight. There was lots of other good stuff in there as well!
We have one last adventure planned for tomorrow - if all goes well, we'll be heading off to the mall to see the aquarium and to go to the lego store, where the boys plan to cash in their accumulated "warm fuzzies." They're looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night!
