Busy summer part 1 - some updates from Rylee

Wow - summer has just been flying by. Things are going well in Minnesota - we've had lots of sunny weather, and weekends full of swimming, playing outside, and having adventures. Rylee has had a pretty good summer - she's been having a great time exploring and playing outside. She loves animals and playgrounds. She is still a bit moody - especially when she hasn't taken her much-needed naps. On the other hand, she's starting to enjoy an occasional snuggle (she's never been as cuddly as her big brother!).


She's taking on a number of big transitions. She's moved out of the crib and into her big girl bed (she also has a new room decorated in pink as requested - photos are forthcoming). She's mostly potty trained. In a few more weeks, she's moving to preschool - though she is a bit resistant to this one still.


Here are a few random photos from summer - here she is going down our water slide, brushing a goat, spending her first night in her big girl bed, modeling her favorite hat, riding her tricycle, and pretending to be a chicken.
